About Me

With 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, Kate has built her career around helping people make sense of their numbers and feel confident in their decisions.  In 2026, she launched True North Accounting & Consulting, where she partners with business owners to work through financial challenges and bring clarity to their operations.

 

Before starting her own firm, Kate spent 10 years at DTB Tax (now Aardvark Tax), supporting clients with reliable bookkeeping, problem-solving, and day-to-day financial guidance. Earlier in her career, she held financial roles at Old Mutual and eSecLending, gaining valuable experience across different areas of the industry.

 

Kate earned her degree in both Finance and International Business from Northeastern University.  She lives in New Hampshire with her husband, four kids, two cats, a dog, and a bearded dragon. She loves volunteering, cooking for others, and spending time with the people who matter most.
